Behind the seams - Gold patchwork pants

Hello everyone and anyone who is reading this! I hope today has been great for you! I thought I'd share some photos of the process of making a design I created not too long ago. This piece was beautiful and all the different fabric samples went together really well.

I got a bag of fabric from the op shop, I chose a bunch of good ones and had a couple laying around that i had previously collected that matched... I didn't have a lot, but wanted to keep it in the same colour scheme (all the fabric has shine that shimmers when exposed to the sun 🌞💛

I usually do one front leg, then use that as a reference to make the other front leg so its not too similar or same pieces overlapping. I do this for the back as well.
I chose to add a border down the side seams and it looked great. It lined up so well in certain places. I also added 2 zip pockets on the front, and deep side seam pockets.

And here's a photo of where i make all my creations.

This is my first blog post so I'm not very experienced but I would like to add things like this to help show the process behind making these garments and to give a more personal feel. I am the sole designer and producer of all the clothing and accessories you see on this webpage, and put a lot of love and energy into my creations and I think its good to show this wherever I can!
Thanks for reading ☯️💚
